first s3, first post

just purchased my first S3 tonight, so thought i'd join and say hello.

been ''lurking'' on here for a few months now, reading up to get as much info as possible before handing over my cash when i found the right one.

details as follow:
late 2001, met black, black leather & blue alcantara interior, 45,000mile, FASH, just had cam belt, oil and haldex oil done at poole audi, as well as new battery and shock bushes.
totally stock mod wise (for now!)
extras include electric sunroof, arm rest, bose sound system with in-dash 6cd changer.
after some haggling handed over 9750 for her.

really impressed with the whole car so far, and glad i waited for the right one (for me) to come along.

remap coming soon and some new wheels!

I'm a newbie S3 owner as well, I notice you've just been to Poole Audi, I was wondering what sort of price they charged you for the work you had done? I've got a quote of £420.00 for a cambelt/waterpump replacement, they came down a whole £40 after I told them Regan Motors a VAG specialist quoted me £300.

I'm in Parkstone by the way.

the person i bought the car off used poole audi so i dont know how much they charged sorry.
