Apart from saying hello in the apropriate section this is pretty much my first post.
On Friday we picked up an '09 2.0tdi 143 s-line Excecutive and are really happy
I've spent most of the weekend getting to know the car.
It has the bog std stereo in it with a 3.5 jack in the arm rest but after lots of reading (my brain aches) I've worked out it has 0310 software so can take sdhc cards which is nice but I still can't work out if I can fit AMI with my set up, it has phone prep if that matters.
I've already spoken to Mike at Motech about a remap and that's probably going to happen in the next couple of weeks, Mike did my 525d and it's still going strong at 204k so I have confidence in him.
I'd like to find someone in the Northampton area that can do a couple mods via vagcom if anyone is feeling generous, beer tokens available.
I wouldn't mind blacking out the grill too but that's in the future.
As soon as I get chance I'll throw up some pics.
