Find out spec of used car

Is there anyway of finding out the spec of a car for sale by the number plate of the vehicle. I.e options added

I wondered this - when I was looking for my S1 I ended up asking the dealers each time and they'd email me the additional spec options on the cars. I never found an online way of checking.

You can use ERWIN, €7 for 1 hrs access to VIN specific information if you aren't near a dealer.

Audi printed me a 7 page document with everything that is on the car always worth asking. Here is one of the pages

Or you could ask me, I don't mind helping out with this sort of thing. We have a system called VMS which instantly shows vehicle spec.
