Picked up the a3 last night and have to say best car ive driven to date, when looking at the car it had a slight shake while idle...looks like this has been resolved, was also a worry about the loud hiss which also seems to have been resolved.

Checked the MOT site on directgov and looks like the car failed MOT on 27th with the following

Reason(s) for refusal to issue Certificate

Nearside Rear Tyre has ply or cords exposed (4.1.D.1b) **DANGEROUS**

Nearside Front Suspension arm has excessive play in a pin/bush (2.4.G.3)

Advisory Notice issued

O/s/r tyre inner edge stepped

Rear brakes show signs of overheating

Car was put back through MOT on 28th and now i have this

Advisory Notice issued

Rear brakes show signs of overheating

Just wondering what needs to be done to sort this and if its bad?

Apart from that and the rear blind on the parcel shelf wont stay down its fine.

Thanks

Mike
