Hello! I am about to replace the rear axles on my '97 B5 Quattro and feel that, while I have the old ones out, should replace the final drive/differential axle flange seals. I don't detect any leaks.
Does anyone have experience with replacing those seals? Are they a pain to remove/replace? Special tools required? Just wondering if I should let sleeping dogs lie and not get carried away with extra steps.
