FCB Ibis white Audi S3 8P

Hello all,

My name is Jason and I’ve been a proud owner of my Audi S3 for roughly 4 years now. I came from a rally spec Subaru Sti and had been a vag owner of various platforms prior to that.
I’ve been lurking around on this forum for a while now and I haven’t really posted too much, however recently I’ve gotten quite a few questions about my car; so I thought id try to capture as much information about my journey with my car on this thread.

I purchased the car used, completely standard with 30k on the clock for well under the going rate and this was because it was in such bad condition the previous owner couldn’t shift it. White alcantara seats were black with dirt, all wheels scuffed, paintwork was a mess, no service history and was complete basic spec. as it was low miles and such a low price I decided to take the risk on it.

Earlier in the year I took the car from Stage 2 to stage 2+ for a little extra boost and to make the most of my uprated Helix clutch. James @ VDS performance sorted the car out to get it ready for its mapping session. Turned out my Haldex fwd clutch had died and running the Compression test I had a leaky rocker gasket too so that all needed fixing. We also needed to replace the air con rad as the old one wasn’t allowing much air flow to the new intercooler. Also I had a carbon clean done as my friend just started up his own carbon cleaning business.

Car made 370bhp and 430ftlbs

Airtec Stage 2 kit and stage 2+ hardware:

CTS turbo pipe work

Oil change and new oil pick up pipe

AKS braided clutch line

Cheeky carbon clean

Can I ask where you got the mirror covers? Looking at respraying the front grille to black so the black mirror covers would go nicely.

I’ve got a resprayed front grill laying around in my garage (upgraded to the RS3 grill) you can have it if you like but needs some touching up..

Mirror caps I ordered from eBay - the ones I purchased aren’t on there anymore but I did a quick search and found these:
