Faulty fuel and temp gauge audi tt mk1

Hi there i have a faulty fuel gauge and temp gauge . The dis reads 0 miles so does fuel needle been reading online and tells me if pod was faulty the dis would atleast show correct miles remaining in tank what do you guys think . Also the temp needle sits at 90 when car is switched off ad when i switch back on gover in to red zone. Any ideas??

It does sound like a faulty dashpod to me, they all do different things when they fail (from a pixelating screen, to dial problems). A company called BBA Reman can repair it with a lifetime warranty, you can find them through eBay, I think it costs around £120 (but make them an offer). A courier will collect your dashpod and bring it back within 3 or 4 days usually. My brother, and several other TT owners I know, have used and recommend them.
