Hi. I have an engine management light up on my dash so a quick scan with VCDS reveals that it is a problem with the EVAP system.

Can anyone advise me on how to remedy this? TIA

Hi! With the P2188 code, have you tried removing and cleaning the MAF sensor and seeing if this clears the fault?

What is the car the faults are on?

Has the car been remapped at all or have a different exhaust and not accounted for? I had similar EVAP fault code issues with installing a race cat exhaust before it was remapped and coded for. It could also be the N80 purge valve depending on engine.

Hope this helps a little bit!

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The car is a 2007 s3. It has been mapped, but 2 years ago and has only thrown up this fault recently.
I will try cleaning the MAF and report back

No problem! Keep us updated with how it goes.

It might also be worth replacing the charcoal canister depending on mileage as I believe they throw up EVAP fault codes.
