hi, my engine warning light Is on and reading the following fault codes.

Does anyone know what they mean? What could the issue be?

2816
5376
4608
4096

Cleared the codes but they came straight back.

Thanks

Thanks but couldn't work anything out from that. The codes don't match anything on the document.

Any other suggestions?

I'm not sure....it was my freinds system that works on all makes. Do the codes look wrong?

Anyone in leeds who can read them for me?
I could read them for you if you wanted to pop over. Not around this weekend though as I'm going over to the Isle of Man

Just sent you a msg Shaun. Be very helpful if you could. Cheers

Massive thanks to ShaunS3 for coming to plug the car in.

The fault code is P2015 intake manifold flap position sensor.

Shaun reset the light and did stay off for a while but has come back on now.

Any ideas on a fix?

Maybe a bit of selfhelp needed here, stuff that code number into Rosstech VCDS website, if that does not give you enough to work on then you need to go to an Audi dealer, or a good VAG indie.

Had a read about, seems it could be a number of things. People have suggested a clean out of the intake as it may have a carbon built up. Watched some videos but don't fancy trying that myself. Anyone know of a good specialist in or near leeds that could do it?

Thinking of selling up but need to get it sorted first.

What's the engine? If it is the V6 diesel i.e. 3.0TDI then there are two motors, one on each intake manifold. Each has a connecting rod to the swirl flaps. They wear and so give 'implausible' signal to the Ecu. Some chassis numbers there are repair kits for but some like mine need new manifolds, a wallet basher!
Hope that helps.

I had that on my a3 1.8 160 tfsi and it ment replacing the whole intake manifold at £400.
I had it the ecu reconfigured as it didn't make much difference to the running of the engine still going strong now
