So I own an Audi 1.4 TFSI that I purchased from a Dealer yesterday, and the Emission Control light came on, so I took it to my local garage where they ran a diagnostics check on it, the computer picked up 'Fault Code 00665 Boost Pressure Regulation Control range not reached, P0299'. The garage cleared the error and put Forte diesel turbo cleaner in my tank. So far the light has not come back on, however I have only drove it a few miles back home. He has advised me that if the light comes on again, It's most likely the turbo that would need replacing, which he reckons will cost from £1000- 1200. So far I've had no performance drops from the vehicle power wise, it's running like it was before the light came on. If anyone could give me any advice on what the problem could be, or alternate methods of preventing this fault happening again, that would be great!
