Fans running constant

Hi all when i start my a4 the rad fans start running constant i have took switch leads of but they still run any ideas

just to let you know today im having problems with my ac fan... After i switch the car off the ac fan stays on and i was hoping it would switch off after a while but an hour later its still on.. I rang AUDI AND have been told its the control module which has 1 switch which controls the radiator fan and the ac fan .... Part only cost £266!!

Check the coolant temp sensor, what does the coolant temp gauge read when you drive it, if nothing the sensor is duff or disconnected the ECU will probably run the fans regardless to protect the engine, or fan relays if there are any...
