Fans keep coming on and off - ignition point 2

Hi guys...

Audi S3..

Another fault detected after clutch change... I noticed that my fans on my car keep coming on and off in a loop, even when the car is not up to temperature... Also the same behaviour with the car not even started at key position 2...

I tried the air con too, this was just blowing normal air with the speed of flow dropping and increasing... Climate control display was ok and did not show any sign of issues...

Never take your car to a VW dealer... My car got loads off issues after clutch change yesterday..

Can anyone help...

Is there a relay near the gearbox?

This happened to my wifes car, eventually pulled the fuse on top of the battery and put it back in a few days later. It started doing it again and then went ok, sort of fixed its self and been ok ever since....A mystery!!

Strange thing... Will try that... I also notice yesterday that it only starts doing it when the car I'd driven for about 15mins...

Cheers DC, that quick fix seem to have sorted the issue.. Test it the other day an has been fine since...
