hi just wondering if anyone can tell me why my fan stays on all the time ?

Mine does it after short trips. Iirc it's performing a particle clean.

Just normal 90

Get it scanned with VCDS, there quite a few fan related faults which can occur.

Just a minor suggestion, try and make your thread titles more specific. "Fan runs constantly" would help people understand your issue straight away and you may find someone has had the issue and will jump in with a suggested fix.

Probably a duff sensor or the fan control module is playing up. As above you need to check the car for fault codes. If you have an android phone you can get a bluetooth dongle for £5 from Fleabay and download Carista.
Alternatively have a look for somebody local with VAG-COM.

As others have said it is probably the control module - but one other suggestion is the air con system.
1. If you turn the air con off, does the fan switch off ?
2. Does it blow out ice cold air ?

I had a problem with fans running full blast when the engine was on - turned out my system lacked enough refrigerant. System was tested and filled up - works a charm now without the fans running constantly!
