Fan blowing full blast

Hey Guys,

So I took the car out to the shop the other day, No more than a 5 minute drive up and 5 back.
Pulled into the garden and turned the car off and the fan kept going at full blast for about 10 mins. I wouldnt of even thought the car got to working temp let alone be over heating.

I read up on a couple of people having the same issue, Is it something to worry about? 2017 A4 S line

Is your car a diesel by any chance? It could be trying to do a regen to clean the DPF maybe....

I get exactly the same from time to time - (40 TDI S-Line). Like jds_sg I believe this is when the engine is switched off part way through a DPF regen.

It is a diesel and now that totally makes sense.
