Fair wear and tear

20 Month old A4 Avant, 24,000 miles and immaculate condition.

Would anyone on here think a hole in the carpet (drivers footwell) is fair wear and tear?

I've seen similar cars with 124000miles - no holes in the carpet. The gearlever is a little shiny and the edges of the pedal worn.

Unless the driver wears stilletos or mats were not used.

I assume you are talking about the car's carpetm not the mat?

I'd a hole in mine when I bought it 2001 - 96k miles but I just replaced it. Yours is a little newer though so I'm assuming it came from 1 careful high heels wearer probably.
