Anyone know if the pre facelift steering wheel can be swapped for the facelift one as long as the facelift is from a car without VC? Thank you.

depends on the spec of your car. I did this on my rs3 no problem, but it has the highest version of BCM. Can be done but may require a new bcm.

It's a MY15 S3 with tech pack if that matters?

you can try. Not sure if you’d need the new bcm because the fl’s all have LED headlights and come with the new wheels as standard.

As long as the car has mfsw:

pre facelift steerringwheel fits facelift car, (no vc view button)

Facelift steeringwheel does work on prefacelift after gateway upgrade (odis, cp), altough mine is an '14 model, later models could work...
I also must add the replacement facelift steeringwheel is one with view (vc) button. Others might work.
