Facelift center console conversion issues

Just got hold of a new center console to go with my new double din. It seems I didn't do enough research though as I assumed I could just replace the stop start button that I don't need with a blank but I don't appear to be able to do that. Will this cause any issues with errors codes, or will the button just not do anything? And as far as electrical connections go will everything plug in or will I need to rewire plugs?

You will have to re-pin the ESP and passenger airbag light, the current plugs also won't just plug in there different. You will need to remove them from the coloured housing and then they slot in once you have re-wired them.

can't remember the connections but you do need ETKA to figure this out. Start stop button will be fine.
