Personally I think F1 would be alot more entertaining with say 32 instead of 24 cars on the grid and having prequalifying to compete to get into race qualifying! Maybe even having those that don't qualify running a last chance qualfiers race for an extra slot on the grid like in other formulas.
More teams can only be good for the sport, back in the eighties they had something similar when it wasn't mainly manufacturers.
