External temperature DIS not showing - Please Help

Hi guys

I've recently upgraded my audio system including running a new power cable to an alpine amp, however upon completion noticed that the external temp DIS is no longer being displayed...any ideas?

maybe i've knocked a cable or wiring adaptor or the sensor, where is this located please so i can check, any ideas?

Had the same problem on a Passat.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery fixed it. Its worth a try I suppose
