Hi all
Had the car warming up today and went to shut the garage door and noticed that there was only the drivers side exhaust pipe had fumes coming from them, is this the norm.
Cheers

Hard to he 100% as I don't know which engine you have, but it's probably a valved exhaust and is completely normal

100% normal on an S4, it's model related so you would have benefitted from informing the forum in the first place ;-)

Yes, it's normal. Two valves on the S4 - one is behind the backbox on the right, the other is before it on the left.

This means three, two or one tip could be "closed". When idling, I think three are usually closed.

Pop the car in Dynamic ADS and it’ll open all up!

I’ve always hated how it does that in the winter you see it just from one tip, which looks *****! (And I don’t want anyone thinking I’ve got one of those S4s with the fake exhausts :innocent::tearsofjoy:)
