Exhaust options

Firstly i need to point out i have to rule out BCS just to expensive at the minute.

Currently running 3inch downpipe from miltek with sports cat. Which i believe then goes to 2.75m.

I have then the conmecting pipe with then tails down to standard size exhaust 2.34m.

So which cat back would you have, i hear miltek have shocking workmanship? Would a custom exhaust place make it sound as good? I want non res also.

Am guessing i would need 2.75m to match the downpipe also?

Well custom exhaust place could make one but doubt they could make it sound good.
Keep an eye for 2nd hand one they pop every now and then.
I had issues with milltek downpipe and hangers not with the box.

i picked up a full turboback Bcs powervalve at a very reasonable price from a member on here and it is awesome

As i say. BCS are over my budget, yeah i had buy a hanger for my downpipe.

Maybe if full system pops up and i can sell this one that might work. Will see.

Am just more curious to which is better. Miltek. Scorpion. Cobra etc

i have had 3 different ones in my time off owning 3 different S3 1 with stock 1 with scorpion 1 with Bcs . for noise ii would go with scorpion for comfort Stock but for performance it has to be the Bcs and my car is not mapped yet

I know......one day I'll get around to it.
Excuse is that it's only really loud at full throttle....and then it's not long before the limits appear...lol
