Help Please Exhaust gas temp sesnsor (G235)

Hi guys I replaced this sensor approximately two months ago and its failed again. At this point should i just remove the egr?

Its the main EGT sensor not EGR - You sure you replaced the right one?

Yes the sensor underneath the turbo.

I also received this code 200km before that one, but this one is intermittent, I don't know how a sensor can fail within two months of replacing it.

I have seen EGT sensors fail especially on cars that have poor tuning (exceeding 930deg for example), but if its a original Audi sensor and stock software it should not fail.
