Exhaust gas temp sender - part number.

Help please guys.

It's looking like I need a new exhaust gas temp sender.
I have a 2001 AMK. Can anyone tell me the part number for it and if it is the same as the one on BAM engines?

Its printed on the sensor under the inlet mani... bam one will work...

Thanks again Tuffty your a star. I don't have the car with me and want to order one today so I can sort out the problem when I'm off next week.

Still think you have a wiring problem... egt probe is around £170 ish to buy so be sure this is the issue... normally when an egt probe is ******** you get an implausible signal fault

Found one on eBay that awesome gti were selling for £40 so thought it would be worth grabbing in case mine is bust. If mine is fine I will just stick this one back on eBay.
I'm hoping it is just a wiring issue.

you got as good a deal as me, i picked one up for £40 about a year ago.

if you find a wiring fault in your old one when its off you could always re-sell
