Exeo RNSE Question

Do all the Exeo RNSE units have the better screen? Compared to the older A4 units? Looking at an Exeo RNSE with part number:

3R0 035 192

Yes much better. I’ve had both in. Not fully working but both have been installed.

The Seat Exeo unit is much better.

Also has the option for bigger SD cards.

If you have the option for that one then go for it.

There is indeed, and a bit of coding on VCDS to change the Seat splash screen to the Audi one.

I don’t know if the link works but this is what I used as well as a few questions to the helpful lot on here.

What would be the benefits to change to a Seat Exeo unit ?
Better sound ?
What extra features are there compared to Concert II + ?
Is there a Seat Exeo device without a navigation feature but still better then Concert II+ ?
(I have no use of navigation function)
... If not, what is needed to make the navigation function work as my car does not have navigation today ?

Yes, the Seat Exeo have a much better screen.

You must change the Seat splash screen to the Audi one with some VCDS coding.

Does the Seat unit have RED illumination as the Audi one ?

Just get a MK2 RNSE.

Exeo unit is like the later A3 RNSE. Better screen, can use higher capacity SD cards etc. I ended up getting a reasonable prices B7 RNSE and its spot on. For the navigation you need a disc and a GPS antenna. Should be able to get both on ebay for £25.
