I hope that with a number of claims for similar body parts that have been successfully repaired we will have more luck getting future claims dealt with.
Please put in as much detail as possible.

Thanks

Good idea! I'm sure that would be of great benefit to subsequent claimants!

I just hope that people who have previously claimed can be bothered posting...

Car/Model:S3
Year of Reg:2002
Area repaired replaced: Drivers door, drivers rear quarter, boot and pass door. All to be repaired.
Dealer/Repairer: Specialist Cars Aberdeen.

Drivers door has rust bubble along the bottom of it. The rest have the zinc bubbles. Not been done yet but the work has been approved by Audi. I just have to get it booked in.

I took mine to Teesside Audi and they said it wasnt covered under warranty as the bubbling was due to 'Zinc Intrusion'. Are they trying to pull a fast one on me?:motz:

Yes, definitely trying to pull a fast one...

AFAIK, it IS Zinc that is the problem but it was introduced in the factory painting process which Audi are well aware of, that is why so many cars have been repaired by them...
