ESP - Anyone got issues?

I've just noticed the car feels a little odd recently.
Last night I was at a mates house driving his pulsar whilst he maps it. But on the way back I decided to turn off ESP.

I have never travelled such a distance so quickly. The car was absolutely planted to the floor. Anyone else found this?

I often turn mine off. If it wasn't for the fact it would fail the mot I'd permanently disable it.
