hi guys how can you which engine is fitted to your tdi and what are the diffrences with them?

If you lift the spare wheel cover up in the boot, there should be a sticker there with your three letter engine code on it. As for differences i have no idea mate, hopefully someone else can help. All i know is i've got a BKD and they're SH*T lol

BKD is a good engine, early models had a porous head other then that very good strong engine and much better then the PD170 engine.

chris have you seen the thing about the heads going ? i think you should be fine as yours is a later modle

ye ive seen that mate, i think mine is the pd170 engine tho, need to check the sticker in the boot, what is the diffrence in crank pullys between the engines? anyone know or are the interchangeable ?
