Hey guys,
Can anyone advise if it’s normal why some engines tinkle (or another name pinking) when increasing the acceleration from stand still.
I read somewhere it could be something to do with the fuel not being injected at the correct amount or something like that and only requires a software update..although I found a thread on here which suggests the same issues - https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/pinking.164908/
Has anyone else found that their car does tinkle when increasing their speed and you hear this when the windows are down, could be just because it’s a Diesel but I’ve never heard it that bad before
It’s doing my head in and something else I’ll be bringing up when the car goes in on Tuesday regarding the squealing front windows going down/up
