Engine Temp Sensor Help

Hey Guy's,

As the title says, does anyone know where the engine temp sensor is located on an Audi A6, C6, 3.0 V6 Tdi, 2005....???
And is it easy to access , does it require any strpping down etc...

Hi,

Remove the air mass meter from air filter housing and air intake hose to turbo and then you should see the temperature sensor ( G62 ) on a metal coolant pipe on rear end of engine.

G62 is outlined in red below photo
