Anyone experienced anything similar to what happened to me?
I've an SB S-Tronic (1 month old) and was in heavy stop/start traffic in the motorway. Was working continuously (and seemlessly) but then as I was about to head off the engine wouldn't start. So put it back into Park (foot on brake) and started it (engine kicked in and then cut out). Tried again and same thing again...hmmmm!
So took out key and tried again...same thing again! Now I remembered my last car was a manual with S/S and had a similar thing happen 4 years ago. So this time I deactivated it manually and tried again - This time it worked and didn't cut out (by this time queue of cars behind me and hazards were up, people beeping and pointing at me and probably mouthing "Hah 64 reg car and he's broken down - knob")!
Since then everything's been ok but another coincidence. The same thing happened on a brand new car last time and never again so feels like a right old Ground Hogs Day...
