Engine cover

Hi all. Can anyone tell me why some 2.0 tfsi engines have silver rocker covers and others have black ones?? The cover on my car is silver it is a220bhp engine BUL...

Maybe ones plastic & ones metal?

They definitely are both plastic. I was just wondering if it had anything to do with identifying the 220bhp engine and the standard 200bhp engine??
