Engine Coolant Flow Low / Performance

Got a fault come up on my S3 earlier when I switched the ignition on stating not to exceed 4K revs and there was an Automatic Stop / Start system fault.
Scanned the car for codes and 5 came up. Pics of codes and errors attached.
Seems to point to thermostat / water pump. Anyone had anything similar?

loads on A3/S3 water pumps failing. use the search function and you will get lots of info. have you checked your water level?

Did you get to the bottom of this? Just had the same thing on mine twice this week at 63k miles 14 plate s3

Yup, leaking thermostat housing which is integral to the water pump. New water pump and thermostat fixed the problem. £550 at an independent Audi specialist covered by 3rd party warranty. Closer to £800 at Audi. Quite common according to the Audi and Golf R forums
