Engine Code?

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T I am looking for a timing belt kit on the ECS Tuning website and it says depending on the Engine Code, AEB/ATW or somthing like that. How do i determine what my engine code is? Thanks for any help i am kinda new to the audi scene.

it'll be on the engine block somwhere, do a search to find the location of the engine number

On the data sticker inside your service book.

If you take the plastic engine cover off by undoing the three plastic sprung loaded screws, its etched onto the buttom right hand corner of the block on a small flet tab thing. (well it is on my 1.8tqs anyway)

Look in the front of your service book on the sticker

top of cylinder head at front right corner be like AEB,AJL, APU or something might just see it without taking cover off, but easier if you do., also on inside front page of service book on printed sticker. like others say above.
