My a6 is a 2.0 140 tdi pd is this a good or problematic engine! How does it take to a remap! Or would one of these tuning boxes be a better idea??

remap every time tuning boxes arent great
140 pd engine is ok but if its pree 58 plate the oil pump drive is weak

When I say tuning box I mean a £400 chip express tuning box? My brother has one on his 2.5 tdi a4 and to be honest it's awesome! Has anyone got one of these! Www.chipexpress.co.uk???

Thanks Gup, Yeah, had my 140 remapped to 176
To be honest, I found it almost downright dangerous in 1st gear and somewhat lacking pre remap.........Afterwards, ALL good.
I paid through the nose and got Audi to do it as the car was brand new and wanted to retain the warranty obviously, but there are other options I'm sure
Know what you mean about first gear no poke in low rev range I hope to do something about it v soon just not sure what road to take remap or box! I will start a thread on it!
