Emissions light has come on..... Help

started the S4 up this morning the the emissions light came in and will not go off... Can any one help with advice. I'm in lancashire

Scan it with VCDS for the fault code.
There are loads of generous people on here that would be happy to help you out with the software to do it

Thanks for the reply, Really? Does any one have this VCDS THINGY in lancashire? Any help would be really helpful. Hoping it ain't going to be an expensive job lol
