Electrical problems. Some help please?

Evening all.
I'm after a few pointers here. Noticed a couple of problems with my 2001 2.0 b6 this morning.
Both electric windows have stopped working.
At the same time, the central locking stopped locking the driver's door (all other doors and boot will lock from the fob). Also, the interior light under the window switch doesn't light up.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

Broken wiring where it enters the drivers door inside the rubber bellows.

yeh what he said check the wiring in the rubber sheaving where the door hinges are you have some broken wires in there, you can get hold of a new wiring loom or rejoin and repair that one

Thanks for the replies.
However, I don't think it's the wiring because the passenger window doesn't work from the passenger door button.

I'm thinking fuses now. Is there one fuse for windows / central locking?
Gonna have a look now. Had a quick look at the wiring going into the drivers door and there doesn't seem to be any damage.
