Electric tank cover retrofit

Hi,

Cant find anything about this fit.
Did somebody else do it? Retrofitting an electric fuel tank cover on their 8P.

Thinking about doing it.

Well, some A3's have a button to open the tank cover instead of pushing it from outside

That's just a release button, it's not a fully electric flap, open, close & can't see the part in etka, for the UK market anyway.

Yeah that's kinda what I mean, the flap is locked when not pressed the button. In my region there are alot of petrol thieves lately..

I don’t understand, when the car is locked the fuel flap is locked anyway?

It's not going to stop that, it's just a convenience of the flap release via the door rather than push to open.
