Eibach Pro Kit Fitted

I will try that grease. Those are easy to reach even with a floor jack and stands.
Could you specify which is the union screw? Is it the top one holding the suspension stack together?

No

In my previous post I was referring to the screw that joins the stabilizer bar with the shock absorber body

Any of these:

A

BUT... I really don't think it's that, I just commented on it as a something (possibility) worth checking, because it's easy to check

If that screw is too tight, the rubber may make noise. I think no, but check it ;)

By the way, this happened to me but in the rear suspension. When I got in and out of the car, it made noise to old bed hehe

I think I've heard that a creaking noise can appear if a spring doesn't sit properly in a strut.

Yes of course, its possible. The spring must be properly positioned so that it seats in the bottom rubber in the correct position. But it's rare for a mechanic to make those mistakes... but hey, yeah, you could check that too :icon thumright:

In my opinion, a mechanic should not tell you that this is normal, if it did not make that noise before. A good mechanic, at least before telling you it's normal, should check all of these little things... not you, but him :whip:

Very balanced stance in my opinion. Eibach Sportline.

Mechanic is going to have a look, and lubricate the mentioned rubbers, the 24th this month. No earlier possibility.

Hope we/he can find the problem, because besides the 'creaking sound' I like the steering/new behavior with the Eibach springs a lot! Very accurate and sporty. Feels great on normal/flat roads.

Only downside... Potholes are to much for the stock shocks... If I would lower it again, I think I would choose a decent adjustable coil over kit...
Or maybe re-use my Eibach springs with Bilstein B8 shocks?...
Posição muito equilibrada na minha opinião. Eibach Sportline.

[/ QUOTE
excuse me. the question is, how can @makelja sportline kit download aparently the same as yours?

If I understand you correctly, you are asking why the Eibach PRO kit on my E-Tron is the same lowering/height as the Eibach SPORT kit on @makelja's car?!

I think this could be possible because of the extra weight of the E-tron?...

Normally, sportsline springs should lower the car about 1cm extra, compared to proline...

Is this what you mean?

Yes, that's it. does the fact of paying for s-line suspension also apply to 2013 models?

Can someone just clarify some thing for me, i have an A3 saloon 2106 1.4tfsi s-line. I would like to achieve a drop of around 20mm, I understand that the s-line is slightly lower than standard suspension. So should i be going from the pro kit. It states 30mm drop front and back?. (But that 30mm is from standard height not s-line)

how much drop would I actually achieve with the pro kit on my s-line suspension? Thanks for your patience in advance.

S-line is 25mm lower than Dynamic(standard). So Prokit won't give you much drop.
I had also s-line also and Sportline gave me almost 40mm drop from s-line.
Also my experience of Sportline is very nice. It is firm but not as harsh as s-line was.

The sportlines gave you an additional 40mm on top of the sline suspension? That seems way to low for me. It would be rubbing like mad once both the kids are in the back and the boot is full.

The eibach websites states that sportlines will gave you a 45mm drop over standard or have i read it wrong?

It does not rub in anyway.
I had 150kg of garden lime in the trunk and no problem what so ever. And I have also the rear wheels right next to the fender side.

Sorry to dig out almost a year old thread.
After getting the Passat GTE and it looks like an offroader, it definately needs to be closer to mother earth. So my question is for those who are using Eibach ProKit in their cars; How much was the lowering compared to the original height. Asking this because my A3 got to be abit too low and I don't want the Passat also get too low. Also mixed feelings whether to go with Eibach or Vogtland. Both should give same lowering about 35mm front and 30mm rear.

I think so too. Seeing some pictures of Passat with ProKit they look spot on.

3.2cm from front and 2.7cm from rear. Mud flaps do not scrape to speed bumps as my A3 did.

Same place as the last picture but with summer wheels on.
Very balanced.
Sorry for posting here, but Passat B8 is closely related to 8V.
