Ive just changed the blanking plate on my EGR valve for one with a hole in it to get the engine management light out. I'm M going to take it off next week and give it a clean. I've noticed there is oil seeping through where the plate goes. Is there a gasket or something I need? Or how do I stop it seeping?

If you've got the pucker vw reducer then you won't need another gasket it should be fine

It's one off ebay. It's just a plate with a hole in it.

Oh just try fitting it and see what happens. If it leaks is only about £3 or £4 for audi reducer gasket which will seal.

I've already fitted it but its seeping oil hence the question about if there's a gasket I need. Cheers for the heads up on the vag part. Would that replace the one I've just fitted or would that be an addition to it?

Replace it, I will try and find part number for you tommorow. Though it's on here somewhere as its where I got the number from.
