EGR DELETE

Hi all
I kept getting engine error code 401, EGR flow insufficient so I got an new EGR VALVE fitted but still got the error so I got an EGR delete, it now feels like my car has a little lag in the accelaration when I put my foot down, is this right or do I have other problems, I've not had the car long only about a month so I'm not sure if this lag is common for audi a5 quattro 2008. I have read some people are getting lag on accelaration when it drops down a gear, would I benefit in a remap?

Do you have a dpf ?

The delete will require remapping as eml will persist as egr is ecu monitored after 2003 .

Mapping it would certainly reduce the lag. But get the dpf removed whilst your at it, That thing is a huge restriction and your results would be far better. maybe a gearbox map if you have a auto?
