Boom, sounded like a shotgun had gone off in the car !
Latest failure to hit my 2.0 tdi was the EGR Cooler blowing off .
Total loss of any power thereafter with a maximum speed of 40mph being attainable.
Sounded like the exhaust had dropped off when driving but I managed to limp it home.
Total repair cost was £468 at a non franchised garage with the part costing £357.
