Hi I have an a3 140 bkd engine on a 56 plate and loosing coolant slowly and think it's leaking internally from the egr cooler. If I use the dark side adaptor in the link below can I just bypass the cooler and unplug the vacuum from the egr valve without any side effects. I no the EML will come on but I can deal with that as long as it doesn't cause limp mode or any other side effects.
Also if any one was any links to some guides showing exactly what I need to do that would be great. Want to spend as little as possible to confirm this is the issue.
