Its not enough the city is being torn apart for tram works (which incidently fewer and fewr people actually want but thats a different rant) but edinburgh council decide to start as many roadworks as possibly, quite often so many they don't have enough people to actually do all the work!
I have no fewer than 5 diversions on way to work, and none of them are tram related! (if I went another way I'd have a lot more than 5!) Its now impossible to go anywhere in the city without being diverted or held up by road works.
As a result I have to drive along residential side streets with roads in poor state of repair meaning I now need 2 new tyres, alloys refurbed (and possibly one replaced)
Mind you, I did see some reasonably priced rs4 replicas with tyres for sale...
