Ecu problem

hi when placing diagnostics machines on my S3 they seem to have a problem connecting to it.
The ecu kicks the diagnostic machines out and won’t let it read it. Tried with a few different machines anybody had the problem?

I had this on mine, and find I have to twist the diagnostic plug to the right so the left end detaches slightly before it will connect. Also check the diagnostic fuse is there, and not blown.

Maybe trying s genuine Ross-tech Vcd:'s cable might work , or maybe sometime before car was bought others had used Clone cables and courupted the ECU

Owned car since new, never used cloned cables etc

Very strange , best get it looked at cause if it doesn't connect to cables you won't know if it has any faults codes at anytime
