"Ebay Special" PS19W DRL LED bulbs

Hi just to show everyone some of the poor quality Ebay has to offer.. I removed these after been fitted in my head lights for 6 months..

As you can see from the pictures they've melted in places and the LED part has started to break away from the bulb fitting... I only noticed that something wasn't right as one of them had started flickering..

I think far too many people get caught out by the fact led bulbs 'use very little' current but in fact have to dissipate the extra load on circuits not designed for led bulbs. That extra energy used to power traditional bulbs has to go somewhere - resistors get hot and need heatsinks. I had a similar experience with multiple smd style led units.
