Dynamic = Sport mode ?

I have a newb question about the driving modes. Is Dynamic the same engine/ exhaust/ gearbox / suspension setting as in selecting Sport mode using the lever.

It feels the same but not sure if the mag ride suspension is activated as well.

To my best of knowledge, shift lever to "S" only puts the gearbox in sports mode, gives a little bit more noise but no changes to the other settings

No it’s different things. S only changes the gearbox, dynamic changes all the things you note.

S is just a sport gearbox. FYI "sport mode" does exist which is one press of ESC button. Afaik sport mode can be in dynamic or not

edit - selecting dynamic puts the gearbox in sport as well as all the other stuff.

The S definitely opens the valves up - so it makes the noise though - no matter what mode the car was in originally as far as I remember.

I’ve noticed that S mode does sharpen the throttle as well, or maybe it was because I was in I mode as well.

Must have been designed by an engineer who didn’t actually drive the car! The manual doesn’t help much either.
