DV relocation

Evening all. I am just writing to get a bit of info on relocating my standard DV on 2.0tfsi. Where has anyone fitted there's? Do I need a hose going from wherever it is back to intake pipe? I'm confused as pics I have seen have been vacuum operated DV's. thanking you in advance

been meaning to change mine, not that engine/car competent myself but I did find this video at the time:

That should help locate it for you, but be warned it is underneath the engine bit of a hard place to reach unless u somehow get underneath the car.

Thanks for that but locating DV isn't a problem. It's relocating it after fitting s3 turbo . The original DV is on turbo itself bit awkward but doable
