Dtm intermittent wiper problem

Hi

I have just bought my dtm and wondered if anyone knows why the intermittent wiper setting is not working. When you move the stalk into the intermittent position the wipers wipe once but then that's it, even when you change the speed control. Nada!

Any ideas?

Can it be the relay/motor if it works on continuous mode? Guess the only way of knowing if it's the stalk is to buy another is it?

Isnt the first position on the stalk for the auto wiper mode..?

Yes it is. Auto/intermittent.
