I took a 2.0 TDI Sportback DSG for a test drive yesterday, it was the first time I have driven a DSG equipped car and after reading all of the hype about them both on here and TSN I can't say that it set my world alight.
I suppose its something that you'll get used to over time and not on a 4 hour test drive, however I did find that at times it made me feel lazy when using it in D mode and when using it in Manual I came over all confused and forgot to change gear!! It felt a fair bit quicker than my manual 2.0 TDI especially when overtaking, even more so seeing as the car was brand new only registered yesterday with me being the first person to drive it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Don't get me wrong It's something I reckon I could get used to, but I'd rather spend the money on an extra that I really want.
My next A3 will be an S-line TDI, its a shame that you can't have an S-line that isn't either a Quattro or DSG equipped /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
