Dsg clutch and flywheel replacement cost.

Hi guys and girls,

My car is juddering a bit and struggles to bite on when pulling away. The gears change but it jerky.

What has everyone paid to get clutch and flywheel done?

Just been quoted and seeing what everyone has paid.

I doubt its the clutch or clutches as there are 2 of them, more likely a blocked filter or electrical problem.

Okay I'll get a dsg service done and see if helps. The car is due in 5k for a dsg service.

I think it’s about £250.

A replacement exchange will be about £1k
This is why you need to get the car properly looked at and diagnosed. Nothing on DSG is going to be cheap but it may just be a filter or something. If its mechatronic it usually shows as a flashing PNDR.

I'm going to get it booked in to get a dsg service done. Hoping it's just a clogged filter.

I've discovered I've got a small leak from the sump plate. Got a new plate and getting dsg service at the same time. I'll have a look at how to reset it if it still judders after. Thanks guys much appreciated

Good a dsg service and reset carried out. Good news judders gone. However I do I have a miss fire spark plugs were replaced 2 weeks ago so. So got it diagnosed as a coil. For the sake of it I'm replacing all 4 and doing the cam follower too. Thanks for the helpast people much appreciated

Yeah mate saved me a fortune so got new tyres disks pads and braided lines. Looking at coileovers and rear arb. As I've heard this eliminates alot of understeer.
